As a grad student, I would love to see the University of Calgary's Faculty of Environmental Design involved. Be it a reconstruction of the latest Solar Decathlon project, or something new and sustainable, that can be used as a cooperative within the community, there is a lot of great design potential here! Celebrate the Calgary Public Library’s Centenary in 2012 with a new and architecturally groundbreaking downtown building. What better way to promote the culture of this city than showing support for an organization with one hundred years of providing access to culture and literacy under its belt?
