Make Culture a Part of City Planning Process

Get the City of Calgary to sign on to Agenda 21 for Culture- an internationally recognized guideline to help local governments support the production and dissemination of culture for all citizens.

We have plenty of ambitious and creative people in Calgary, but sometimes we lack the structural or systemic support to make good things last. Making cultural planning part of city operations would have a positive impact on individual artists, non-profits, institutions and the general public.

Agenda 21 for Culture is not about using the arts as an economic multiplier, or fostering a 'creative city', but about making cultural activities accessible for everyone.

    Agenda 21 = blueprint for global socialism coming in the back door at the community level. Agenda 21 sacrifices the rights of the individual for the collective. Agenda 21 = global human slavery to elite government officials. Agenda 21 = SCAM, don't believe it! Fight against community sustainabile development = wolf in sheep's clothing.

    Fabian socialists have infiltrated our government. George Soros funds community groups to push his "open society" ideology. Massive urbanization and depopulation of rural areas allows easier control of people by government.
